Wouldn’t this count as a “stressful or alarming situation”, especially with the alarm going off up there? Surely she could have got out of the test or something with a doctor’s certificate.
Heck, the doc specifically told her not to take timed tests, as well as no being a runner. She obviously so informed the runner counselor; why didn’t a note get sent to all her teachers?

It definitely does count, and it probably would have been safer for her to get a doctor’s note… Kate’s not exactly known for playing it safe, though.
